Ron Klaiss is the owner and operator of Mine Mount Models, where he specializes in creating exceptional diorama model kits and model railroad kits. Ron’s love for model railroading began at 5 years old with the typical Lionel train set around the Christmas tree. This enthusiasm quickly blossomed into a passion during his teenage years, as he learned many skills from reading modeling magazines and experimenting with new techniques. He has built several railroad layouts for both himself and clients, showcasing scales such as N, HO, Marklin HO, Lionel O, and LGB, including his own Ron Klaiss model kits.

Follow along on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube as he creates his newest Model Railroad of the Philadelphia Belt Line RR In HO scale. Urban, Industrial modeling and waterfront car float operations along Delaware Avenue. Set in Philly in the mid 1960s.

On the Art of Model Railroading Podcast, he is looking forward to meet great model railroaders and sharing this amazing hobby with them and the community we build together.

And always remember…
